FREEDOM:

So in my last post I was stuck again on WoW, I've been free from it for about two months now, and don't wanna go back. So hopefully some work in the Flash world might get done. on that note

EVERLIFE:

Just now, like literally, I was thinking about my storyboard for Everlife, and it never really had a full plot, or story to it... BUT I just had a breakthrough and I'm going to fully put together a script and get this thing into motion!

So my friends and I have been playing a lot of Magic lately, kind of a replacement of WoW I would think, but whatever, I got some neat cards n' stuff... If you play post your awesome combo ideas in a comment.

LA TRIP:

This next weekend my friends and I will be taking a trip up to LA, I made a post on the BBS a while back about it. We will be up there from Friday the 23rd - Sunday 25th, probably really late on Sunday night,

So its my birthday today, and I turn 20!!! YAY!! i'm not old enough to get booze :(

anyways, this summer i'm really hoping on getting some flash work done.. just hard to find the time in this day and age to get to work on it.

well just a short update on my part. Wish me luck on getting stuff done this summer!

So I have been watching a few flashes here on newgrounds, and found these reviews to be disturbing.

The first flash about the PS3 is just retarded, not a great sense in artistic presence. Tried to copy the "Awesome" style of art. Included senseless profanity and ignorance.

The second flash is amazing in storytelling and artistic presence, and storytelling. This flash made me feel emotions, and it entertained me in that aspect. The animation is set to the tone of the story, erie and dark. This flash has high artistic values to it, that inspire me to make my own flash. I have respect for this piece.

It saddens me when viewers get a higher sense of enjoyment out of stupidity, than intelligent art.

That is the meaning of art, to entertain by changing emotions. Some flashes can do that with violence and silly humor. But when that potty humor and profanity is getting more respect than REAL art, that is when I know something is wrong with the viewers of this website. We are suppose to be a community of artists. So where is your artistic presence Newgrounds?

So,

It was just announced today that I have won a tablet, and I am really excited for it. I currently have so many projects that I want to work on but I always set myself for high standards on certain personal pieces. I really hope this new Tablet gives me the inspiration and motive to drive forward and actually finish some of my MAJOR projects.

Current Project:

OutBreak - 3 part series, approx. 15 min total length

Its a "Horror/ Suspense / Intelligent" story about a young girl and some unwanted visitors. I don't want to spoil anything for you guys ;)

Ideal Projects:

Everlife - status Unknown

This one I've been working on for quite some time, its gone through multiple facelifts and stories. I think im actually ready to put it down on paper. Keep an ear out for this project. It involves my character "kisho" who can be seen in Shaolin Dodgeball

<Unnammed project> - game

Don't want to give much info out about this game, but its something new, and innovative. I'm hoping it kinda sparks an all new breed of flash games :D

Other Projects:

I have multiple things in works that I have started and just haven't gotten around to finishing. Multiple Shorts, a few game designs, music videos. etc...

I hope to get a few of those done :D

Alright I won't waste a news post on politics, so here is some freshly squeezed news.

Projects: Right now I'm working on a game with EviLudy, working on some personal shorts, AlmightyHans, and I will be collaborating on a few projects. ( Quite Possibly IAHT )

Games: I've been playing a lot of 360 lately cause I just got one from a friend, so add me on XBL, and lets play some Halo 3, or COD 4

Personal: So A lot of things have come up recently, a lot of open doors and other things, right now I'm still working at Jamba Juice. As well as managing newspaper sells with SB Marketing. My brother just moved up to Seattle and wants me to join him, he's making BANK apparently :D

Hans and I were talking and we wouldn't mind getting a group of people together that are dedicated to producing flash movies and games, and try and get some sort of process down, maybe we could all make some money? HA!

Camping Trip:

The Trip was amazing, sadly nobody wanted to join up from the community but we had some great fun with my friends.

My buddies are putting together a camping trip to Bass Lake for that weekend, if you are 18+ and Live in Central Cal or have the means to get there, then lemme know. We'll have food & booze. HAHA

So i finally found a coder that is working on my current major project, as soon as I see progress I'll finally get inspiration to do some kick ass animation. Hopefully that happens soon!

Pretty much the greatest movie ever made guys, I've seen it twice, and I love the movie. My new favorite movie...

Anyways, well I had a bunch of projects in mind to have done this summer, but I ended up getting two jobs, AND my friend got me to play W.O.W. for the first time, so... yeah, i'm addicted to that now. But hopefully i'll be able to get something out before the end of the summer.
